All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.
Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.

If I had to live my life again I'd make all the same mistakes - only sooner.
One makes mistakes: that is life. But it is never quite a mistake to have loved.
Life has a practice of living you, if you don't live it.
Take care of luxuries and the necessities will take care of themselves.
Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a f*cking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home.
It is a truth universally acknowledged that when one part of your life starts going okay, another falls spectacularly to pieces.
Life must be understood backward, but it must be lived forward.
I try to make ideas happen, ideas that could change life.
People say that life is the thing, but I prefer reading.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

At my age I do what Mark Twain did. I get my daily paper, look at the obituaries page and if I'm not there I carry on as usual.
