We are all alone, born alone, die alone, and ... we shall all someday look back on our lives and see that, in spite of our company, we were alone the whole way. I do not say lonely ... but essentially, and finally, alone. This is what makes your self-respect so important, and I don't see how you can respect yourself if you must look in the hearts and minds of others for your happiness.

Be weird. Be random. Be who you are. Because you never know who would love the person you hide.

Eccentricity is not, as dull people would have us believe, a form of madness. It is often a kind of innocent pride, and the man of genius and the aristocrat are frequently regarded as eccentrics because genius and aristocrat are entirely unafraid of and uninfluenced by the opinions and vagaries of the crowd.
If you can stand knowing that some people won't like you, you are free to be yourself.
In order to be irreplacable, one must always be different.
Dare to be what you are and to believe in your own individuality.
Do what's good for you or you're not good for anybody.

To be one's self, and unafraid whether right or wrong, is more admirable than the easy cowardice of surrender to conformity.
