I remember thinking how often we look, but never see … we listen, but never hear … we exist, but never feel. We take our relationships for granted. A house is only a place. It has no life of its own. It needs human voices, activity and laughter to come alive.

Success only lasts until someone screws it up. Failure is forever.

Sex *could* kill you. Do you know what the humanbody goes through when you have sex? Pupils dilate, arteries constrict, coretemperature rises, heartraces, bloodpressure skyrockets, respiration becomes rapid and shallow, the brain fires bursts of electrical impulses from nowhere to nowhere, and the muscles tense and spasm like you're lifting three times your bodyweight. It's violent. It's ugly. And it's messy. If God hadn't made it *unbelievably* fun, the humanrace would have died-out eons ago.

Sticking your head in the sand might make you feel safer, but it's not going to protect you from the coming storm.

I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book! — When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

LIFE IS PAIN !!! I wake up every morning, I'm in pain. I go to work in pain. You know how many times I wanted to just give up? How many times I've thought about ending it?
House: There is no Heaven, there is no Hell, your soul is not gonna float out of your body and join some great unifying energy force. The fact that you're dieing is not gonna change that!
Wilson: I don't believe that we're just a bag of chemicals.
