People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.

It is difficult to imagine that a nation which began, at least in part, as the result of opposition to a British mandate giving the East India Company a monopoly and imposing a nominal tax on all tea sold in America would have set out to create a government with the power to force people to buy tea in the first place.

I want to see your smile and hear your laughter. I want to kiss away the old hurts and hold you until you know without a doubt that this is for real. I want to memorize the sound of your voice and the dreams of your heart. More than anything else I want to make you happier than you’ve ever been before. And give you all the things that you deserve.

You get my support the same way I get yours: when I agree with what you're saying or when I don't care about what you're saying.
